It depends on your means of locomotion. If, for instance, you boarded a long-distance train while carrying a sealed container of diesel fuel, you could get some thousands of miles with it. There would be a limit to getting further as you would not be allowed to carry diesel fuel on to a commercial flight, as it would pose a risk of terrorism if you chose to pour it out and ignite it mid-flight. You could however travel by sea. If your means of locomotion is diesel fuelled, how far you could get would depend on the fuel consumption of the vehicle, as modified by load and driving style. Or, if you stayed at home, poured the diesel fuel on the ground and ignited it, you could not get any miles at all with the diesel fuel as it would be consumed without achieving locomotion.
